jacob and maddy's summer wedding at Venue at the Grove in Phoenix, Arizona

Between having my first baby and a global pandemic, this was my FIRST wedding back after almost ten months! (I have to be honest, I was a little nervous being away from Baby Oakley for almost ten hours... be he was, of course, well taken care of by my sweet parents). But It felt SO good to be shooting weddings again with my favorite second shooter!!

Jacob and Maddy got married on August 29th in Phoenix Arizona at Venue at the Grove!! It was a warm, beautiful day and I am SO happy I got to be apart of it.

Maddy and Jacob shared their first look at the Grove. We took bridal party photos, family photos, and most of their their bridal portraits all before the ceremony. For the ceremony, we traveled to Camelback Bible Church, the church that Maddy grew up in!! It was so beautiful.

After the ceremony we headed back to the Grove for bride and groom sunset portraits, then celebrated with food, dancing, and sent them off with a sparkler exit!! It was such a special day!! I have so many favorite moments from this wedding and cannot wait to share this blog sneak peek!

Jacob and Maddy- I am SO proud of you two!! Your wedding day was absolutely beautiful and every part of the day had me smiling!! I know there was so much uncertainty surrounding this day and several modifications made that you weren't expecting, but you two handled it with such grace and patience. Thank you so much for having me be apart of your big day. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. CRETIN!! I'm SO HAPPY FOR YOU!
